In my first wine review, I referenced a book that I have been using to help me learn more about wine and today I’m excited to share it on my blog. The book is called “Wine: A Tasting Course” and I have loved every minute of reading through it! I spent some time in the past researching and paging through other wine books. In comparison I think this one is the best for a few reasons.
First of all it is not “stuffy”. This book is ideal for someone like myself, an average person who is looking to expand on wine knowledge. The setup is also extremely easy to follow. I use the first half of the book to read through page-by-page and mark off areas I may want to go back to. I use the second half by opening a bottle of wine (my favorite part) and referencing the corresponding area of the book. It has been really fun to match up the wine and book. I find that it helps me understand the information better and remember it more clearly. This book is filled with helpful infograms, charts, and photos that are useful for anyone who learns visually, like myself.
Overall, “Wine: A Tasting Course” is the perfect purchase if you want to expand your wine knowledge in a fun and easy way. You can check out the book by clicking here to page through or purchase. I hope this review was helpful for all my wine-loving friends out there. It is a recommended buy from me to you, XOXO.
Any recommendations on other fun and helpful wine books?
I would love to review wines but I think that I’m far too ignorant. Great post!! 😀

This looks like a great book. Thanks for sharing! I’ve been attending some workshops at our local wine tasting room and love them because it’s relaxed and not snooty at all. The next one is on vocabulary, which I’m excited about. I might get this book for added education. Great post!

I once heard that there is a “3 sip” rule… you can’t decide that you don’t like a wine until after you give it 3 sips :).

Thank you for sharing the wine book. I definitely will check it out to add to my wine book collection. Wine Folly by Maseline Puckette and Justin Hammack is the first book I bought that has been a helpful wine guide. And the Wine Tasting book will number #2 which will be very helpful with wine tasting. Thanks again http://www.foodlagniappe.com
